Steroid Injections

Steroid injections also called corticosteroid injections, involve the use of anti-inflammatory medicines to treat a range of painful conditions. Steroid injections are administered directly into the inflamed area. Typically, they are injected directly into joints to ensure that a high dose of the medication reaches the problem area.

Nerve Block

A nerve block, or neural blockade, is a form of anesthesia used to control pain. Non Surgical nerve blocks involve injecting medication around a specific nerve or bundle of nerves to prevent the nerves from transmitting pain signals to the brain.

Trigger Point Injections

A trigger point injection, or TPI, involves injecting medication into painful areas of muscles that contain trigger points, or knots of tense muscles. With an injection, the trigger point is inactivated and the pain is alleviated. TPI is used to treat many muscle groups.
